Venture Arts x the Whitworth: Print Edition – Launch Event
We’re proud to announce a new exhibition with the award-winning charity Venture Arts, which supports people with learning disabilities in Manchester. The exhibition includes a finite number of select prints from local artists from Venture Arts.
Join us to celebrate the launch of this new collaboration between Venture Arts x the Whitworth limited edition print series. Launching on Thursday 27 October evening at the Whitworth Shop, the collection will be open to view and purchase from 5.30-8.30pm. The event is free and open to visitors, with refreshments available on the day.
Fresh from the hugely successful exhibition ‘YES LADD’ at Frieze London; we proudly present this new print series by Venture Artists: Darren Bates, Michael Beard, Barry Finan, Andrew Johnstone, Ahmed Mohammed, and Leslie Thompson. The series is a marker of a longstanding partnership and collaboration between Venture Art and the Whitworth.
Each print comes in an edition of 50 on Giclée 300gsm Monte Carlo mould-made cotton rag paper. The whole series is available as a special edition box set in an edition of 10.??Venture Arts is an award-winning charity based in Hulme, Manchester. They support people with learning disabilities to reach their full potential through visual arts and culture. All profits are split equally between the artists and organisations.
The limited edition print series will also be available at The Manchester Contemporary on the 5-6 November.
