Teachers of pre-16 students may bring groups of their pupils to visit The University of Manchester campus in order to get a taste of university life, find out more about higher education in general and gain an insight into student life at Manchester.
The visits take place between 11am and 1pm and feature the following activities:
Welcome presentation
Student ambassador Q&A session
Campus tour
The welcome presentation provides information relating to higher education in general, why people go to university and how decisions your pupils make at this stage of their education will impact their future, as well as giving an insight into student life.
The campus tour includes our Students' Union, The University of Manchester Library, the Old Quadrangle (the oldest part of the University), some of our teaching buildings and the Manchester Aquatics Centre.
