Public Involvement in Research in the North West
A collaborative event organised by the NIHR Research Design Service North West (RDS NW), NIHR Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care North West Coast (CLAHRC NWC), Public Programmes team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre, NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility, and NIHR INVOLVE.
Are you a researcher, post-graduate student or public contributor interested in developing your understanding of the ethics of public involvement in research? Or in how to creatively and effectively communicate in public involvement in research?
If so, please register to attend this one-day collaborative event on 30 October 2018, in The Cobden Rooms 3&4, Manchester Central, Petersfield, Manchester, M2 3GX
In this, the first of two events, we will focus on how we can communicate more effectively across all stakeholders in public involvement in research, and the ethical aspects of doing public involvement, through presentations, case studies and hands-on workshops.
The second of these two events will be held in March 2019 in Warrington and further details will be made available soon.
