Thomas O’Toole will present on:
Title: Occupational Stress: Burnout, Allostatic Load & Resilience
Description: An overview and background on the bio-social determinants of work-related ill health and workforce attrition over time. This research seeks to advance theoretical knowledge by examining the extent to which psychoneuroendocrine, psychosocial and socio-economic perspectives may be integrated to form an explanatory model of chronic work-stress.
Sewon Lee will present on:
Title: Respiratory hazards in cleaning and disinfection products used across England and Wales.
Description: By using three different methods, respiratory sensitisers and irritants in cleaning and disinfection products used across England and Wales are identified. Furthermore, it will be presented the risk-based prioritization of sensitisers and irritants and a pilot study for using a mobile app for collecting exposure information from hospital cleaners.
