Please join us for a 'Show and Tell' by researchers affiliated with the 'Empire and After' EACW research cluster, showcasing new and developing work.

The event will take place on 4 March at 2pm, in University Place 2.217.

About the research cluster

Empire and After (lead: Dr Howard Booth) – ‘Empire and After’ is a research group in English, American Studies and Creative Writing (EACW) that addresses colonial and postcolonial writing and film; approaches to the field are also discussed and evaluated, including postcolonial studies, world systems theory and the various uses of the word ‘decolonisation’. Members of the group collaborate nationally and internationally, and organise research events, in addition to supervising many doctoral students. Affiliated members include Prof Liam Harte, Dr Robert Spencer, Dr Sundhya Walter and Dr Kelechi Anucha.
