As part of the Arts Methods workshop series, please join us for a talk and Q&A on working with cultural partners and non-HEIs.
This information session focuses on helping PGRs start preparing for postdoctoral applications - to understand the process and how to start planning ahead. The session will include: where to look, what kind of opportunities are available, how to approach potential mentors, understanding the process, how to plan your proposal, and how to manage the drafting process.
The session will be led by Dr David Firth, who will discuss good practice and share his own experience winning a postdoctoral fellowship with the AHRC as part of the Creative Economy Engagement Fund, and developing a programme of research and public engagement activities with a cultural partner, the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT), in Liverpool.
Please register in advance to book your place. The Zoom link will be sent out directly to registered participants on the day.
