Michael Schmidt is a well-known poet, publisher and critic. He was awarded an OBE in 2006 for services to poetry. With Chris McCully, he is a founder and Director of the Literary Archives programme at the John Rylands University Library, Manchester.
Chris McCully lives and works in the Netherlands, where he writes poems, textbooks and works on fly-fishing and gives freelance courses on aspects of using the English language.
