This event is part of ESRC Festival of Social Science (www.esrcmanchesterfest.ac.uk). It encourages the whole family to think about health and illness in a fun and interactive environment. It introduces the work that psychologists at the Manchester Centre for Health Psychology (MCHP) and Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) do with a view to increasing understanding of health-related behaviour and helping people to live healthier lives. Attendees will participate in a variety of interactive activities exploring psychological aspects of health and illness, including stopping smoking, walking more, appropriate antibiotic use, and healthy eating. Attendees will meet numerous members of MCHP with different interests.
