An introduction to telescopes workshop, co-presented by our own in-house staff and Professor Ian Morison, author of ‘An Amateur’s Guide to Observing and Imaging the Heavens’.
Attend a talk on the range of superb telescopes and mounts that are now available for amateur astronomers, covering their strengths and weaknesses and advice on how best to use them. Followed by an opportunity to ask questions on any telescope you might have brought along, practical guidance on setting up telescopes and observation tips.
If clear, we hope to finish the evening with some stunning views of Jupiter.
No previous knowledge required.
