Fallout is a documentary on the post prison experiences of four exonerated
prisoners. Two were sentenced to death: Peter Pringle in Ireland and Sunny
Jacobs in the USA. Paddy Hill, one of the Birmingham Six, and Robert Brown,
received a life sentence for murder, served 17 and 15 years, respectively, in
British gaols.
Paddy and Robert will be joined on the panel by Pete Weatherby and Akemia
Minott. Based at Garden Court North Chambers, Pete specialises in human
rights cases and represented Robert at the Court of Appeal. Akemia is a youth
worker and with the Northern Police Monitoring Project and JENGbA is
campaigning against the criminalisation of young people in Moss Side.
The Law and Social Justice Series is part of the School of Law’s social
responsibility programme.
