This webinar will synthesise key findings of the political drivers of inclusive development from over nine years of ESID research and outline the importance of the 3C's - context, capacity and coalitions. These findings will be placed into conversation with new insights from recently concluded projects on 'pockets of effectiveness' and oil governance in Africa, emphasising the need for political settlements thinking to incorporate sociological and transnational perspectives.
