Ben Seymour is an outstanding neurologist and neuroscientist who has pioneered the application of computational modelling to the functional brain imaging of pain perception. His interests are broad and range from aversive conditioning, effects of anticipation, mood and drugs to decision-making and reward. He currently holds a Wellcome Intermediate Clinical Fellowship in the Dept of Engineering at Cambridge University.

He will be giving us a talk on Friday 8th April at 3pm entitled 'Understanding pain - bottom-up versus top-down'.
