We run regular campus visits throughout the year for groups of students in Year 10 and upwards. Activities include a welcome presentation, a question-and-answer session with a panel of our current students, and a guided tour of the campus led by a current student.
The presentation provides information relating to our academic history and reputation, social facilities, support facilities, accommodation and the city of Manchester, as well as more general information on higher education. The campus tour takes in our Students' Union, the John Rylands University Library, the Old Quadrangle (the oldest part of the University), University teaching buildings, the University Precinct Centre and Manchester Aquatics Centre.
If you would like to arrange a visit for your students we would be happy to facilitate this on selected afternoons between 1.30pm- 3.30pm (availability permitting). Bookings need to be completed a month before the date of your visit.
Further details will be provided after you have made a booking reservation and received a confirmation email. Please note that there may be other school/college groups in attendance, as we need a minimum of 25 students to run a session.
