Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute in conjunction with Alderley Park Ltd are bringing the return of the popular biannual suppliers’ exhibition fair, 'Suppliers A Go Go'.
David Jenkins (Purchasing Officer at Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute) presents this fun, yet informative suppliers day, which includes 25-30 Scientific Laboratory Suppliers.
'Workshops A Go Go'
Headlining this November is Jamie Gallagher, an award-winning scientist and science communicator. He spends his days sharing his love of science and helping others to do the same. His work has taken him around the world, from skyscrapers of Hong Kong to tents in the African bush. As well as speaking live to thousands of people each year he’s had work published in 19 different counties and has contributed to a number of television shows, radio programs and museum exhibitions.
The workshops start with talks from Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute’s very own STAy (short for Science Take-Away), run by junior scientists and brings together CRUK MI and DCS early-career students, postdocs and scientific officers in order to network, share ideas and discuss topics of scientific relevance – all over food and drinks! their events, which run monthly, aim to provide a forum for discussions and training, help them to communicate and engage with the wider world of science, and develop social and networking opportunities for early career scientists.
