Join us to celebrate the findings of "Housing with care: co-producing research with older lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people"

This is an interdisciplinary pilot research project exploring the experiences, needs, and aspirations of older LGBTQ people. Over the past 10 months, we observed the process of co-designing Kindred House, an extra-care housing scheme developed through a collaboration between a community steering group of older LGBTQ people and local residents, Manchester City Council, Great Places Housing Group, and the LGBT Foundation.

The pilot also co-developed a number of creative methods to better understand older LGBTQ people’s experiences of housing with care. For this Research Café, we will be discussing how co-production works in practice, and the importance of creative methods in research.

We will be sharing creative outcomes from the project as part of the event.

Refreshments will be provided

This event will be held in the Kanaris Theatre, Manchester Museum.
