THIS EVENT IS FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER EMPLOYEES ONLY
This interactive event will provide an overview of the state-of-the-art imaging capabilities available through the Octopus (Optics Clustered to OutPut Unique Solutions) imaging cluster. This national user facility is designed to support researchers from experimental design through to data interpretation and publication, offering both cutting-edge instrumentation and expert scientific support.
Workshop topics will include:
- super-resolution microscopy
- multiphoton microscopy
- cryogenic imaging
- correlative imaging workflows
- advanced image analysis approaches.
- Bringing together researchers, imaging specialists, data scientists and technology experts, this workshop will focus on the complete research journey from an initial scientific question, through experimental planning and data acquisition, to image processing, quantitative analysis, visualisation, publication and impact. Participants will learn how integrated imaging and computational approaches can accelerate discovery across biomedical, environmental and materials science applications.
There will be opportunities to discuss your research challenges directly with Octopus staff, explore potential imaging strategies, identify technical solutions to experimental bottlenecks, and brainstorm new collaborative projects.
Researchers at all career stages are encouraged to attend this workshop.
