How do creative writers and artists approach ideas about innovation? How do their explorations of the social, emotional, and narrative dimensions of economic ideas help us to understand better the changing world in which we live, and how we might contribute to that change?
Join Ingrid Hanson who will reflect on artist-businessman William Morris’s relation to the Industrial Revolution of Victorian England, economist Ismail Ertürk speaking on the value of his long-standing collaboration with artists Goldin+Senneby on contemporary finance, and writer Reuben Martens whose work brings indigenous creative practices into conversations about imperial extractivist infrastructures.
The event will begin with short lightning talks before a broader conversation, led by Chair, John McAuliffe, and followed by a Q&A.
