Abstract
Computer graphics, image processing and visual computing in general are deeply intertwined with human vision. This talk will present how applied perception principles can be used enhance visual fidelity and efficiency. This will be demonstrated by examples from projects in computer graphics, high dynamic range imaging with applications in various domains. In particular a framework of how to identify the best parameters to adopt in virtual environments will be presented.
