Seminar- Understanding Users for Product Development
- Could you better assess the needs and desires of the very people your innovations are meant to serve?
- How can rigorous academic research translate into impactful and usable solutions if the voices of potential users are not integrated throughout the development process?
- Are you confident that your research fully considers the user experience and addresses genuine user needs, or are there opportunities to strengthen your innovation with a more user-centered approach?
If you want to find out more, then join us in-person on Tuesday 11th February 2025, at 11am-12pm in Emmeline Suite Open, Christabel Pankhurst Building, where we will be joined by user engagement expert Matt Langford from People Planet Product who will share invaluable information on the importance of understanding users.
Overview: This seminar will provide an introduction to the importance of understanding users throughout the product development process. We will explore the importance of grounding product development projects in user research, and how insights gathered can be used to create a strong foundation for future technical development. We will explore some tools and techniques that can be readily harnessed by early-stage innovators and researchers to prepare for technical development and commercialisation.
